How FeminGo Passenger handles your data.

This page explains what information the passenger app collects, why it is used, who it may be shared with, and how users can contact us about privacy or deletion requests.

1. Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to the FeminGo Passenger Android application and related passenger services.

By using the passenger app or related services, you acknowledge this Privacy Policy and consent to the collection and use of information as described here, subject to applicable law.

2. Information We Collect

We collect only the information needed to operate the passenger experience, provide support, improve safety, comply with law, and process rides and payments.

Account and authentication information

  • Mobile phone number
  • OTP or phone authentication details needed to verify your account
  • Firebase user identifier

Profile and verification information

  • Name
  • Legal name
  • Date of birth
  • City
  • Profile photo, if you choose to upload one
  • Aadhaar last 4 digits
  • Aadhaar front image uploaded for manual review
  • Verification status, review notes, and clarification requests

We do not ask you to type your full Aadhaar number into the passenger app.

Ride and trip information

  • Pickup and drop locations
  • Saved places such as Home, Work, and other saved locations
  • Ride request details, route, trip status, and vehicle type
  • Estimated and final fare
  • Payment method, coupon usage, and trip history
  • Ratings and feedback

Location information

  • Current location for pickup detection and nearby ride matching
  • Selected map location for pickup or drop
  • Location used during active rides and ride tracking
  • Location used during SOS or emergency features

The passenger app does not request Android background location permission.

Emergency and safety information

  • Emergency contact names, relationship labels, and phone numbers
  • SOS event records
  • Ride-linked emergency location details
  • Messages you choose to share through system sharing apps

Wallet and payment information

  • Wallet balance and ledger records
  • Top-up amount and payment status
  • Transaction references and ride payment records

Full card credentials, UPI PINs, and bank credentials are handled by payment partners, not stored by the passenger app.

Notifications and basic device information

  • Firebase Cloud Messaging token
  • Notification preferences and delivery identifiers
  • Basic diagnostic information needed for reliability and safety

Information from third parties or linked services

We may receive limited information from service providers and infrastructure partners that help us operate the app, such as payment verification details, map and address results, authentication results, and support-related information.

3. How We Use Information

  • Create and manage your account
  • Verify your identity and account eligibility
  • Let you book, track, complete, and review rides
  • Calculate fares, routes, waiting charges, discounts, and wallet activity
  • Support wallet top-ups and ride payments
  • Save your places and preferences
  • Support emergency, SOS, and trip sharing features
  • Provide customer support
  • Send service, ride, payment, and safety notifications
  • Prevent fraud, abuse, unsafe activity, and policy violations
  • Comply with legal, regulatory, tax, safety, and dispute-handling obligations

4. How We Share Information

We do not sell personal information.

With riders and ride participants

To complete a ride, certain ride-related details may be shared with the assigned rider, such as pickup and drop information, ride status, and OTP needed to begin the ride.

With service providers and infrastructure partners

We may use trusted providers such as Firebase and Google for authentication, cloud storage, notifications, maps, address lookup, route display, and autocomplete, and Razorpay or similar partners for payment processing and wallet top-ups.

With emergency contacts or through actions you trigger

If you use SOS or sharing features, the app may create SOS records, show or transmit your ride location, and help you share ride information through apps such as WhatsApp, email, or the Android share sheet.

For legal, safety, and compliance reasons

We may disclose information if required to comply with law, protect rider or passenger safety, investigate fraud or abuse, enforce platform rules, or resolve disputes.

Third-party services

Some features rely on third-party providers such as Firebase, Google Maps platform services, and payment partners. Those providers may process data under their own privacy terms when they act as independent service providers.

5. Data Retention

We retain data only as long as needed for operational, safety, legal, tax, fraud-prevention, support, and compliance purposes. Retention periods may vary by data type, including account information, ride records, payment records, verification documents, and emergency records.

6. Deletion and User Choices

You may request access, correction, or deletion of personal information associated with your account by contacting info@femingo.bike. Some records may still be retained where required for legal compliance, fraud prevention, payment reconciliation, tax records, dispute resolution, or safety investigations.

If you provide information relating to another person, such as an emergency contact, you should do so only if you are authorized to provide that information and to let us use it for the related feature.

7. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal and sensitive user data, including authenticated access controls and trusted infrastructure providers. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

8. Children

FeminGo Passenger is not intended for children who are not legally permitted to independently use ride services in their region. If you believe a child has provided data inappropriately, contact us so we can review and take action.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we may update the website, the app, the store listing, or other user-facing notices as appropriate.

Sensitive data summary

  • Location data is used for pickup and drop selection, route display, ride tracking, safety features, and service-area checks.
  • Government ID information is used only for manual verification, safety, fraud prevention, and account approval.
  • Wallet and payment data is used only for top-ups, ride payments, transaction verification, and wallet history.
  • Emergency contact data is used only for the safety features you choose to enable.
